Project description

The work consisted of the stripping out of the existing 3rd floor teaching areas to form a new Institute of Technology Suite for Nescot College. All internal ceiling, wall and floor finishes were removed including a number of non-load bearing walls to create larger teaching spaces. New partitions and doorways were formed to create the required teaching spaces. As part of the installation the existing heating system was removed and replaced with a new ceiling mounted HVAC system for heating and cooling the spaces. New electrical systems were installed throughout the 3rd floor including the fire alarm, intruder, and AV systems.

To rooms S301 and S302 a LEV system was installed to the Nescot College teaching rooms to provide safe extraction to the benching areas, throughout the classroom areas acoustic ceiling tiles were installed in a new suspended grid together with new lighting systems, new carpet and vinyl floor finishes were installed throughout and all areas were decorated.

Externally we installed a new plant base for the HVAC condenser units and installed a 2.0m high fence to prevent unauthorized access to the plant area, all pipework and cabling was covered with aluminium cover panels fixed to the brickwork.
